It has taken me a few days to get my thoughts together about this whole ordeal. First of all, I commend Ted on the comments made on his Blog. If you have not read them yet, I suggest it. I know it is very long, but it really is worth the full read; his comments are much better than mine are.
The other day Mr. Medlock’s quote on the board said, "An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind." -Ghandi-. This is something about which to consider. 94% of our nation’s citizens approve military action. That is scary.
I suppose, much like Ted, that it is the American duty to resume things as usual. The intent of this attack on our nation was quite obviously geared towards stirring up our natural flow. I say we learn from this experience and not loose confidence in our national security. We will grow I’m sure of it, but it is too bad that it took so many lives to prove our mistake. Although I’m not sure what mistake we made. I think that is what bothers me so much about this whole ordeal. What did we due wrong? The US is a nation of immigrants; we can’t seal off our borders. We are a free and open country. So how do we protect ourselves. We mostly use our geographic location, politics, and economics. We have protected our selves very well so far. Yet, we still a very vulnerable country. Our army, navy, and air force are geared more towards overseas evolvement rather than national. Our geographic location still proves useful, but with transportation costs so low nowadays, it is loosing strength. Now is the time to see what George W. is made of. The terrorists are not stupid. They are well organized, and very skilled. I guess what I am saying is, do we continue to remain free, or sacrifice some of that freedom for security? I have no answers, only questions.
IN THE BEGINNING...
Did you know if you stay awake for 36 hour, you are considered legally insane?

Scary day. Nothing funny about today. I spent the entire day listening to the news. In case you live in a hole. The Twin towers were rammed by two planes, and collapsed. The last estimate that I heard 30,000 people more than likely died today. We lost 50,000 in the entire Vietnam War. Think about that. Our nation has never suffered this much before in our entire history. I can't think of another day in the history as insanely freaky as today. I'm sure you all feel the same as I do, but this is the first time in my life that I truly feel threatened. I mean we are talking about the greatest organized terrorist group in history. Who knows what they have planed next. I am truly scared. Sorry I know that you all would say the same, but this is all that I have been able to think about all day.

If anyone sees a bob Marley 6 cd box set on ebay for a reasonable price please tell me. I do not want to deal with out of the US shipping.
I got the wheels for my MG today. They are eight spoke performance-racing wheels. They are really cool, and only weigh 15 pounds each. They are a magnesium/aluminum alloy, which makes them light and strong. They are then coated and polished to a high gloss silver. Again you people don't care, but I do. It's my blog and I can do what I want to. So there.
So what have I been up to? I don't know, stuff. I'm so totally lame it's not even funny.
I've started riding my bike every day again since the heat died down. It is a good way to keep in shape. As if I need bigger muscles. I can open a can of spinach using only the strength in my butt. That's a pleasant thought, isn't it.
Anyway. I started on a new painting today, It is the back side, hunched over. He is being engulfed by plans in this Sci-fi environment.
Speaking of Sci-fi, have any of you seen that new show on the sci-fi channel, Crossing Over, with John Edwards? Its pretty crazy. This guy sits in front of forty or fifty people and connects them with their dead friends and relative. I know it sounds hokey, but get this, this guy has a four year waiting list, he has a new show on every night, and he has only been on the air a few months. It's crazy. Check it out, it is really cool.
Well I have work to do so I'll blogify later. Peace.

Ted hasn't updated his blog since he said "I updated my blog.wholly balls." That is kinda depressing. Not really though.
I quit. Peter, sorry I made a hassle about all this. just please don't insult me again, about my blog or anything else. I'm trying to make amends that’s all. All I wanted from my first letter was to prevent you from flinging unjust insults. I never meant to pick a fight I only responded in the manner I felt suited my mood. I felt you violated your right as a friend by insulting me blatantly in front of every one who reads your site. Note I reference your site on mine, so that means that every one who sees mine sees yours. I felt harmed by your words, yet I'm stepping down, and I hope you will accept this apology with one of your own. Thanks.
On a lighter note. I went to a soccer game last night, the Kansas City Wiz. (I still think that there is some thing wrong about that name.) I went with Ted, Tim, and Ally Green. It was great. The first time I had ever seen a pro soccer game. One thing that bugged me though was the fact that they now have people checking ticket stubs in every row, FOR A WIZ GAME. We are not talking about a very large audience here. I mean come on. That's allot of people to pay simply to check tickets. Who cares if we don't sit in our seats? The tickets only cost six bucks anyway. The four of us unsuccessfully tried to get on the jumbotron. I told Ted that we needed to do a few pelvic thrusts, and then they'd film us. Oh, yeah we also saw the future skanks of America on the field at half time. The Wizards Girls and the Mini Wizards Girls showed their stuff. The Mini Wizards Girls (AKA the future skanks of America or as I like to call them the FSA) were a group of six or seven year-old girls dressed in blue mini skirts and skanky tops who danced along with the regular cheerleaders. It was hilarious. These little girls were doing pelvic thrusts and were riding the older cheerleaders. It was great. the highlight of the evening. We also watched two guys get into big plastic bubbles and roll their way through an obstacle course and into the goal. I was just waiting for one of them to run out of air and collapse from exhaustion.
After the game we went over to John's house and socialized. I played pool with Meg and ted became the undisputed champion of the foose ball table(I don't know how to spell that.) we left around eleven thirty, went back to my house, and watched some show about cops on TV. I'd say it was probably one of the better evenings I've had in a long time.
